What is the difference between timeout and deadline?

I'm confused as why there are 2 options. I'm personally looking for an option to let the job try and fail for a certain time but i'm not sure if I can use one of those options as they both seem to be for the task itself.

For timeout option, you pass in a time.Duration: it specifies how long the task should run within. For instance, let say if you enqueue a task with timeout option for 5 * time.Second, then after 5 seconds if worker still not complete the task, asynq will set the state of that task to retry (by default) with the error message "context deadline exceed".

With deadline option, you pass in a time.Time to specify the latest time by which the task must be completed.
