Optimize context gathering for performance and cost with intelligent caching and summarization.

ASSESSMENT: This is likely premature optimization. The current AI system works well and should be optimized only after:

  1. User reports of performance/cost issues
  2. Comprehensive testing is complete (Critical: Comprehensive Tests for Automation Detection & Analysis Components #33, Integration Tests for Adaptive Analysis Pipeline #34)
  3. Core functionality is fully documented (Comprehensive AI Features Documentation for All Audiences #23)

Current Status

The AI system performs adequately for typical use cases. This optimization should be revisited if:

  • Users report slow response times
  • Token costs become prohibitive
  • Large-scale usage reveals bottlenecks
