Not able to understand the use of onNotifyItemChanged() and getItemViewType() functions

1. These both functions seem to do nothing and I do not understand the use of having them in the library.
2. Also confused with how the sample application's adapter class can have multiple view type, but within the library, it looks like it's supposed to give type as 0 always.
3. If this code is not usable, I would request you to depreciate instead of misleading developers.

• Those functions aim to provide similar API to RecyclerView adapter.
• In sample app, as you can see, getItemViewType is override and returns different type https://github.com/henrytao-me/recycler-pager-adapter/blob/master/sample/src/main/java/me/henrytao/recyclerpageradapterdemo/adapter/PagerAdapter.java#L55
