ReaLearn: EN16 / MFT change LED colours with active mapping #1447
-
Apologies if this is answered somewhere but I have searched quite a lot and couldn't find an answer. I want to set up ReaLearn with a specific controller to control the FX chain of the currently selected track. Each track would have a ReaLearn instance defining how to interpret the controls for the other FX on that particular track, and I can see that I can activate mappings based on which track is selected. So far so good. However, I want to be confident about which mapping is currently active, ideally by using RGB LEDs on the controller. I know that it's possible to set colours on the MIDI Fighter Twister - but is it possible to change those colours based on what mapping is active? So far I've only seen a static colour editor and to be honest I didn't totally understand how to use it anyway. Additional question: Is it possible to set the LED colours on the InTech Studio EN16? I haven't got either device yet and I will decide which one to get based on whether they support this use case. I have seen a lot about ReaLearn's MFT support but less about the EN16. Thanks! |

Sorry for the late response.
Yes, you can send MIDI messages when a mapping becomes active. There are multiple ways to do it. The currently best way (if you are not scared by Lua) is to use the MIDI script source. If
I can't answer that question. It really depends on the device. If it supports changing colors via MIDI, then yes! If it doesn't, then probably no. |
