Basics of Dialectic method

Introduction

The cultural discussion preserves itself, its own efficiency, and its cleanliness.

Cultural art of discussion well known from Ancient Greece as the Dialectic method. Scholastic shool was based on Dialectic approach. Dialectics was defended by Arthur Schopenhauer in his most well-known work "The Art of Being Right: 38 Ways to Win an Argument", where philosopher proven that from all discussion methods only Dialectic method is moral and arrives to the truth.

Main principles

• Process:
  • The main agenda of mutual talk is always to arrive at the truth. The other participants allow to get more contexts and form a mutual understanding of the truth on the topic.
  • The discussion consists of the one main topic.
  • People put arguments (definitions) and gather and prove/disprove (modify) them.
  • Process is the evolution of logic.
• Self-discipline:
  • Use of only morally right argumentation.
  • Respect argumentation that points-out logical fallacies.
• Message self-review:
  • Important: All ad hominem should be removed from argumentation
  • All self and references to personas should be removed, change active voice to passive voice.
  • Remove emotional denotations and adjective descriptions.
  • Discussion is about the process.

Result

Use of several of the above principles, especially self-review points - intuitively calms, reserves and directs to proper forms. In practice, one would be astonished how fast intelligent and effective the messaging becomes.
