This is the first release of the speech discourse assessments commonly used in post stroke aphasia research at the Center for the Study of Aphasia Recovery

Assessments included

• Broken window story
• PB&J sandwich construction
• Picnic scene description
• Cinderella story narration

Things to know

• To quit any assessment all you have to do is press the 'escape' or 'q' keys on the keyboard
• Cinderella video recording won't start until the participant is at the point where they narrate the story without the book pictures
• The assessments do have timers! They will quit, and stop recording after the set time period has ended
• Broken window timer: 5 min
• PB&J timer: 5 min
• Picnic scene timer: 2 min
• Cinderella narration timer: 5 min
• To see recorded videos, click on the 'Camera' menu item, and the 'Show Data Folder'
