How to send custom Event Params such as event_category and event_label ? can we use setParams for this ?

Yes, you can use setParams or set function.

// setParams
const customParams = { event_category: 'category_value', event_label: 'label_value' };
analytics.setParams(customParams);

analytics.event('page_view'); // send

OR

// set
analytics.set('event_category', category_value);
analytics.set('event_label', label_value);

analytics.event('page_view'); // send
