Question about the "issues" you raised in the forum

Hey! Sorry I'm reaching out to you here and not on the forum, but I haven't been able to get admin approval into the website and I don't know why! I just have a couple of questions about the issues you raised:

"The PCBA as built has several issues:
the analogue section doesn't work from the 5V supply: it needs ±12V connected to ANA_AVCC and ANA_AVMM
fix by removing R53 and R34, and wiring a 5V -> ±12V DC-DC converter to the headers
there's a track cut needed at U5 pin 4, and then that pin wiring to ANA_AVMM
I messed up on the BoM, so many of the resistors are 100R rather than as-marked on the schematic"

I assume when you say "it needs ±12V" you are reffering to the opamps you're using? So if I were to use say the OPA350 for instance it would be fine? From what I understand there'd be less dynamic range? Doesn't sound like the end of the world and I'm tempted to take the easy way out haha.

And about the resistors that are actually 100R, are those the ones that are highlighted in red in the BoM? And why are there 1R resistors?

I haven't had much luck with the CS42448 interface boards from aliexpress so I'm trying to get this to work from scratch. I really have no idea what I'm doing.

Oh and another thing -- correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like a global label "PCM_AVCC" is used just once? Is it not the same as ANA_AVCC? And is AGND on the CODEC schematic you posted the same as ANA_GND on the Eval sch? I'm generally confused about how the power works haha
