Error while finding module specification for 'application.py' and failure at web end

I ran the automatic setup and went across the issue as the topic with the description as follows,
(ModuleNotFoundError: path attribute not found on 'application' while trying to find 'application.py'). Try using 'application' instead of 'application.py' as the module name.

After starting the web and trying the application, an error was generated as 'Failed to fetch' without any specific reason. Can anybody help to solve the issues
