The State of Terragrunt Stacks? #4560

Hey @rsilva-rai , I wish we had more time to dedicate to generating buzz! We're a small company, and a smaller team dedicated to Terragrunt exclusively, so we can't do everything at once. If we had billions of dollars we could spend on this, you bet we would be publishing more on stacks 😄. There's definitely lots of discussion about stacks in the Terragrunt Discord, and I invite you and your team to join if you want to discuss it, or get help with adopting stacks. We have free Office Hours calls every other week in there that you and your team can join to get help. We're also hearing a lot from our customers at Gruntwork, as stacks are well integrated into our Gruntwork Pipelines (docs for that here), so most of our customers have an easier time adopting them. We have more commercial offerings planned for stacks, but those take time to develop and test before we start marketing them. We wrote this blog post when stacks became feature complete. That being said, Terragrunt is only what it is today because of the community that supports it! If you want to see more of this content out there, consider making it. Sometimes the best way to learn is to teach. We're also open to actionable feedback for the docs, or PRs to improve them. |

I just recently learned about Terragrunt Stacks and am quite interested but there is literally no buzz, tutorials, articles or videos about it and it's been nearly 3 months since it went GA... why? If it were a feature for any other technology there would be videos talking about it the first week... I can't find anything... On top of that, the official documentation and GitHub examples aren't very clear. The GitHub examples alone aren't even consistent. Am I missing something here? I am really trying to justify using this in a new project at work but there are just some details I need to better understand before I can really implement it. Like what is the purpose of a Unit? The example seems to use this as a thin wrapper around Modules. Units are supposed to be the smallest Terragrunt unit of work and I literally can't justify it's existence from the official examples.
