Document use of the Live View

It seems that the Live View used to be rendered internally in an editor pane, and would nowadays be done using an external Web browser, connecting to http://127.0.0.1:9025/ AFAIU

Still as many screenshots of the ancien behaviour still float around, this is a bit disturbing.

Could you document the "Live View" feature a bit more to explain that upfront ?
