Notr sure what to answer - it may be quite a bit of work to get grblHAL up and running on a new MCU and with an untested protocol for stepper control. So perhaps your best bet is a controller that is known to work. |

I have a working setup of servos controlled over a CAN-FD bus by an STM32G4. If I run grblhal on this STM32 could I send the positions that are calculated by grblhal instead of the derived step/dir signals? Does this make sense to do with grblhal or should i consider a different controller for this application?
