V1 deployment to AWS Lambda

Hi,

I'm struggling to understand the process of deploying the GraphQL Mesh as AWS Lambda with V1.

I have generated the supegraph.graphql file from mesh.config.ts but I'm struggling with providing the configuration required here: https://the-guild.dev/graphql/hive/docs/gateway/deployment/serverless/aws-lambda

What is the configuration? mesh.config.ts file? Or supegraph.graphql? Do both those file need to be deployed to AWS Lambda?

The configuration is the same as when running the gateway locally using the CLI. So whatever you export inside the serveConfig through mesh.config.ts file (or gatewayConfig through gateway.config.ts) is what you would use in the configuration.

All of the documentation about configuring the gateway applies.

You are probably not deploying the supergraph.graphql together with the gateway. To simplify matters, you can set the supergraph option in the gateway to the contents/SDL of the composed supergraph.graphql.

I tried to just supply the schema as a string in the gateway config, but still getting the same result:

What does "same result" mean? What error are you getting? Please share more details and the full code.

By same result, I mean that createGatewayRuntime function returns undefined. I'm unable to see any errors occurring within that function. I was able to successfully deploy the same supergraph locally using Hive Gateway and CLI, the issue is within the AWS environment.

This is super weird. There are no createGatewayRuntime return paths that return nothing/undefined. Maybe something is wrong with your bundling process?
