Persistent URLs for thumbnails

Currently, thumbnails displayed in the frontend need a URL with a JWT as query parameter, which changes frequently, preventing client-side caching.

I think the best solution is to create a signature of the checksum and return that as part of the media object, and then accept that as an alternative to JWT in the thumbnail endpoint.
