dashboard UID collisions

I've encountered situations where I'm trying out dashboards from grafanacom/dashboards and two dashboards use the same UID. What's the right avenue to address this? It was fairly confusing why the dashboard was missing when specified via the operator.
when I tried importing the dashboard in the UI, I get this error message:
Dashboard named '' in folder '_' has the same UID

As of right now there is no way to solve this easily.
You can download the json for one of the dashboards and change the UID manually. Then use the json field instead of grafanaCom.
It will however be fixed in the future according to the comments on #1674

As of v5.15.0 you can now overwrite the uid on the dashboard by setting spec.uid: "insert-uid-here"
This overwrites the dashboard uid in the payload before it's applied to Grafana instances.
