Support for websockets

Would it be worth exploring the possibillity to support websockets as well? This could expand the usage of the plugin as a datasource to visualize live data? Currently I am using Infinity for Rest calls and I’m building a custom plugin to support websockets but thought it would be great if infinity could support the websocket protocol as well

The current available websocket plugin does not allow to pass a json payload from/to Grafana while keeping a socket open.
