Visual Boy Advance doesn't open the rom

I have a problem were the emulator doesn't open the rom with the patch and just says "Loaded battery" to then turn all white.
Any help?

I'm having the exact same issue. The randomizer only seems to boot with mGBA, and not with VBA.
