An extra property to the Icons !

Hi, devs
obviuosly I'm a big fan of the FM and have enjoyed working with (kitty)panes and all offered.

My work flow is based on efficiency and clarity, being one of the reason to use this app.

Now, I have bare repos and have worked simple ways to implement and use all of this.

with YAD I can see quickly all my repoed files and it works well, but it could be better in this way:

If the files/directories had an associated icon identifying if repoed or not, color, shape... !?
- My files change often and fast, with this i just do my keychord and voila repoed or unrepo!

It seems I could do it with files but not with directories, the icons seem to be static, am I right and if you have an idea how to?
