Color folders with/without subfolders checkbox

Hello,

The coloring of folders is a cool feature, but I turn it into a rainbow very quickly and it becomes confusing. I'd love to have an option to color only one folder without its subfolders. Like:

Then you can visually count, like "red -> red -> red -> yellow" brings you to a certain location in your file system.

My first suggestion here. I don't have to repost it in any other categories, right? Obviously it's something that can be put at the end of the priority list, but also I feel like it's low hanging fruit, but who knows if my feelings are correct.

In the original PR I personally suggested to tone down the subfolder colour highlighting due to visual concerns. The "opacity" of this effect could be a configurable editor setting.
