New editor

It would be great if godot had an editor like https://turbowarp.org, so developers could code faster. After all, gdscripte is a compiled language.

Can you explain more what you're looking for in a "new editor" and how "developers could code faster" with it?

For example, if there were no canvas with a center, it would be extremely complicated to manage this aniamtion, as the center point would be in the middle of the image.
Godot is woefully lacking in an editor to manage images and image centers, and I don't even need to tell you how difficult it is to create an animation without a sprite sheet. It would be even better to use an image editor with a “canvas” and that its pre,,and also supports svg, godot will be very good in terms of graphics.

You can manage this by placing your Sprite2D as a child of a Node2D, such that the desired pivot point of the Sprite2D is at the origin point of the Sprite2D.

As for an image editor, I think that'd be outside the scope of the core Godot editor. If you didn't want to use an external program to make your sprites (which is probably the better option TBH - that way, there's a team of people dedicated just to the program, rather than whoever can contribute to that part of Godot), then a plugin/addon would probably be the way to go.

I was talking about animationSprite2D where it is impossible to define a central point except with a SpriteSheet.

For the time being, I don't think I'll be using godot for this reason with grphism and svg support.
