Trying again gobolinux 017.01 and try compiling mc

Dear All

today i try installing gobo linux.. after install grub before install to hdd (vm on hyperv), its success installing, and after fighting with
xorg.conf i successfully go to gui,
then i try to compile mc (midnight commander), and i get not fully success install , seem compile not ending success but when i try to compile again it say binary already exist in /usr/lib
how if i change recipe to get source from example slackware src repository, will it be better than get direct from author source code
( more tested first by slackware dev? )

If you are still getting issues please share the logs of the failed compilation/installation.

thank you @nuc1eon , after follow your direction i got success on compiling mc. next step maybe i want to compile xfce.

I am not sure our xfce recipes are in proper working condition. There were some issues in the past. But you can surely try.

uhm.. i got other issue .. error on processing Pkgconf it got 404

Ahhh I see the "mark as answer" option is only available for the "Q&A" category. But the thread was created with the category "ideas". I've changed it to "Q&A", now you should be able to mark it as answer :)
