Hey guys, So IB has this "Trading TWS session is connected from a different IP address" problem, like I logged in on TWS (api use), and also logged in on web or mobile app, then my api call to get market data will give "Trading TWS session is connected from a different IP address" error. TWS/Gateway is deployed on server for algo trading, it is common that it has different ip from the normal use on web/mobile app, because of this, my algo trading can barely working, really frustrating.. Do you have a solution for this? Thanks. |

moving this to discussions as this is NOT an issue/bug. regarding your problem, there are settings on IBC to handle it. please read the docs. in addition you can create a new user in IBKR which should solve your problem. |

I have contacted IB support for my issue, and made some tests in the past days, the market data is bound to one username, so creating new user under Users & Access Rights works. |
