-
Bug reporting acknowledgmentYes, I read it Professional supportYes, I know Describe the bugthe operating system on which the GLPI agent is running : macOS Sequoia 15.3.2 the GLPI agent version you're using and the way you installed it : Either with the package directly on the MAC or by deployment thrgough a install.sh script with common.sh and the pkg file. the problem itself, eventually including log extract or agent run output : The problem is that there isn't a .app file in the glpi-agent folder. This causes the agent to be invisible in the eyes of our Device Management app. I can't inveyorize the MAC computers that have the Agent, and can't request bulk uninstall of the app for example. My app uses the /Applications or /System/Applications folder to find apps. In finder I see it hidden. I also tried to rename the hidden folder with .app at the end, unhide, make a ln with .app but it didn't help. To reproduceInstall GLPI-Agent on macOS Sequoia 15.3.2 Expected behaviorTo have/see a .app file for glpi-agent to be discovered by MD. Operating systemMacOSX GLPI Agent versionv1.13 GLPI version10.0.18 GLPIInventory plugin or other plugin versionGLPI Inventory v1.5.0 Additional contextI'm not pro with MacOS, sorry if it's stupid or impossible. |

Hi @killerwanee GLPI-Agent is simply not developed as an "app" in the sense of MacOSX "app" definition. It's a service and you won't even have to start it manually. Device Management app requiring GLPI-Agent being installed as an ".app" file is to me a "Device Management" limitation. Maybe this tool is not adapted to your need. Anyway as this is not a bug by itself, I'll move your issue as Q&A discussion. |
