Feature Request: Check and Apply new releases version on interval

Hello good people behind Glance,

It would be awesome if you can implement a check for releases every so often and somehow make it pull new codes if there's any new releases.

I'm more of a "if it ain't broke dont fix it" kind of guy, but every once in a while there are new features introduced, and trying to implement it into my fork isn't the easiest for me who barely know programming.

Right now I'm cloud-hosting Glance and being able to that myself was an achievement and a headache for me.

Hope you guys could implement something like this in the future.
