How do I change the configuration of the Proxmox LXC?

Using the helper script, i can create the lxc, but no matter what i do, i cant get glance to accept my glance.yml, especially with the glance.yml point to other files and requiring env vars to be set. Am I stupid and missing something really obvious?

I don't have Glance as a Proxmox LXC, but you did have the configuration in /opt/glance/glance.yml correct?
What does systemctl status glance.service say?

When I create the LXC Container using the script, my glance.yml can be found under /opt/glance on the host node.

Running the Helper Script then prints out nothing of consequence regarding if it located the correct config, of if it is using it. Ultimately it ends up using the standard config.

If I then go into the Container after startup, edit the contents of /opt/glance I get this error:

When I then edit the unit file for the glance service to include my .env file, I get this error:

Jul 23 17:35:30 glance-container systemd[1]: Started glance.service - Glance Daemon.
Jul 23 17:35:30 glance-container glance[175]: 2025/07/23 17:35:30 Config has errors: HSL saturation must be between 0 and 100
Jul 23 17:35:30 glance-container systemd[1]: glance.service: Deactivated successfully.

Which is odd, because HSL saturation is associated with the theme and I haven't set a theme, I am just happy with the default one.

I haven't seen this issue before, your best bet is to try to isolate each widget by removing each of them. Commenting them out won't be enough as ENV variables requires to be escaped. Back up your glance.yml then start removing each widget.
