Enabling/getting config reload to work

I am running the latest available image of glance on Unraid, and it seems like the config reload feature is not being triggered by config file changes.
I am not seeing anything in the log either (i.e. no errors).

Is there a configuration parameter that needs to be passed somewhere? I couldn't find anything in the docs.

Hey, no need to pass any parameters, it should just work. Have you mounted a config directory or just the config file? Based on my testing it wasn't working when mounting just the file. Also, what filesystem are you mounting the config from?

Mounted the entire folder:

The FS as reported by unraid:

root@nas:/mnt/user/appdata/glance# df -hT | grep user
shfs           fuse.shfs  3.7T  1.6T  2.1T  44% /mnt/user0
shfs           fuse.shfs  3.7T  1.6T  2.1T  44% /mnt/user

The drive itself is xfs.

I didn't have any issues with the config before, but the reload functionality doesn't seem to work.

It looks like fuse.shfs doesn't support inotify, which is what Glance relies on to listen for file changes:

libfuse/sshfs#155

I'm surprised there were no reported errors in the console. Also, I don't have a simple solution for this, sorry.

Update: Turns out the auto-reload didn't work because of vim, and thus was resolved by 16129c5.

Huh, that explains why there were no errors. Happy to have been wrong in that case and sorry for misleading you, that was the only thing I could find regarding inotify and shfs.
