Upcoming Navidrome API changes

Hey there!

Congrats for your app, it is currently the top client used with Navidrome!

I see you use Navidrome's native API. Just to let you know that the API will have some changes when the upcoming BFR release (navidrome/navidrome#2709) is merged, which could break your app. This PR and its changes are being discussed in our Discord, you are welcome to join.

On that note, after the next release, I'll start working on the new UI and most possibly a new API as well, and I plan to make it stable and public, so clients like yours will be shielded from these kind of breaking changes. The current API was never meant to be used by app clients, but as it seems to exist a demand for it, I'll work to make it stable.

I have joined DIscord and I am very excited to see that the new API has more response content. I think I can use the new API to implement more interesting functions on the client side.

Navidrome is the music server I often use personally, and I will actively adapt to it.

By the way, does the new API have a docker image for deployment? If not I will try to configure a local development environment.

Wow, look who I found, it’s actually the developer of navidrome. Can I make some suggestions? Nowadays, the navidrome server deployment package is getting bigger and bigger, and some UI details are not very perfect, such as the display of the paginator and the highlighted theme, which are always wrong.

Hey @zjyg1993, can you give more details? Please open Q&A discussion in Navidrome's board with details of what you mean, preferable with some numbers (for the package size) and screenshots for the UI. Just keep in mind that the UI will be rewritten this year.
