I cannot condone a recommendation to downgrade to a known-unsecure version as a "fix". This is not the solution, and if you want to avoid putting in the work to get to a proper fix, you at least need to stop directing others to do the same.

Are you maybe running on ReFS? That would have been useful information, I am sure. In any case, do test whether things work with the most recent snapshot: https://gitforwindows.org/git-snapshots/. We're in the last stretch for Git for Windows v2.50.0 and cannot spend much time on anything else than release engineering right now.

I have solved the problem, I share it, is it my fault? And do you have a clear version description for what system is suitable? I spent an afternoon solving this problem, but I didn't see you come to help, but instead blamed me.
