can't make timestamps work from the command line. windows precompiled download

i'm running llama-server fine. works great! I would like to have timestamps but don't see them after running:
llama-server -m model.gguf -port 80 --log-timestamps
. is there a config file i can place in the directory to turn env on? thanks!
