Ability for the MRV2 window to be made smaller than the current minimum limit

The MRV2 window can only be scaled down in size to a certain point in which it stops. Is it possible for the ability to scale even smaller, with all UI and video elements scaling alongside it? The reason why is because sometimes I would like my video reference fit at the side of the screen of one of my monitors without obscuring any of the other windows I have.
