Screenshot as attachment along event / Feedback for Windows & Linux

Would be great to be able to upload a screenshot as an attachment along the feedback system or via a event.

Similar systems seem to be implemented already with IOS and Android, however my attempts at extending this for Windows and Linux doesnt seem to show up in the sentry UI as a attachment.

Are there any sentry self hosted limitations to unreal to only support android and ios? Or more probable: I've missed something in the code currently.

If somebody has an implementation of this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hey @hulla-bulla, sentry-native library which Unreal plugin uses under the hood on Windows/Linux has some constraints in terms of adding attachments at runtime. Currently, these have to be pre-set during the SDK initialization which's not always possible when dealing with separate events or user feedback.

We're looking to add proper attachments support for desktop in scope of getsentry/sentry-native#1226 and in a meanwhile this feature will be limited to mobile platforms.

@hulla-bulla We've introduced attachments API support for Windows and Linux in scope of #982. Currently it works with events so you should be able to add screenshots with something like this:

    USentryAttachment* MyAttachment  = NewObject<USentryAttachment>();
