We are excited to announce the release of version 1.0.0-RC5! This release brings significant improvements and stability to our software, making it ready for use in both ccTLD and gTLD environments.

Key Highlights:

• Bug Fixes: Most of the reported bugs have been fixed, ensuring a smoother and more reliable experience.
• Feature Requests: The majority of feature requests have been implemented, enhancing the functionality and user experience of the software.
• Stability: The software is now stable and ready to be deployed in ccTLD and gTLD environments. We are seeking assistance from gTLD operators to help us test Namingo by providing access to ICANN and other relevant systems.

Known Issues:

• The only significant issue for gTLDs is the lack of full support for RFC8334.

What is new since previous version:

• Added minimum data set/"thin" registry mode support
• Added support for Ubuntu 24.04 LTS / PHP 8.3 / MariaDB 10.11.8
• Registrar company and VAT numbers are now showing in panel
• Added ability to have nicer BIND zone format
• Added script to clean all test details (registrars, TLDs)
• Added script to purge all contacts after migration to minimal data mode
• Added a rudimentary upgrade guide However, until we reach version 1.0.0 and finalize new features, we recommend a clean install unless you are confident in your upgrade process
• Launch phase support is now off by default
• Fixed WHOIS/RDAP to correctly extract the TLD for multi-segment TLDs @alstrasolutions
• Added easier way to set IPv6 support in DAS/EPP/WHOIS
• Dependency updates for composer packages
• Several small bug fixes and interface improvements

Next Steps:

• Before the final release, we will optimize the software's performance to improve speed and efficiency.

We are targeting the final 1.0.0 release to coincide with our "birthday" on August 3rd, marking a year since our first commit.
