Feature Request: Add a "turn transparent on mouse-over" feature

I love this extension and find it hugely useful.  I find that sometimes the banner covers some useful part of the interface that I would like to temporarily view.  It would be incredible if the banner (and the area around it) could dynamically turn transparent when the mouse enters a hotspot on the banner.
