Sort Grid Filter Results #850

It'd be helpful to have grid filter results sorted. Right now it's just by feature order (with null at the end), which can be confusing if you have a lot of different results. Allowing the admin to enable sorting and set a sort type in the grid json (i.e. sort as numeric or string) would be very useful. I have no idea how feasible it would be to implement this.
