CM4 success with Sintech Nvme PCIe,M.2(NGFF) M Key SSD to PCI-e X1 Adapter Card

I've got this Sintech adaptor working with a Transend 128GB NVMe Pcle Gen3 x4 MTE110S M.2 SSD with Ubuntu 20.10.
Since I couldn't boot it direct I've put the system-boot on a 8MB SD card which then bootstraps and mounts the SSD filesystem as root.

In terms of performance I'm seeing figures around 760-800MB/sec cached read and 350-370MB/sec write.
