Crash on load from old world being removed, uninstall doesn't fully purge files

Environment: gz-harmonic Ubuntu 24.04 AMD

I removed an old world/models package I was using (wamv_gz) and it seems to still be looking for it despite clearing all environment variables and remnant files I know of. The base uninstall instructions for Harmonic did not work as I am still able to open Harmonic with gz sim [see below]

'sudo rm -rf gz*' in /opt/ros/jazzy/opt as well as removing the .gz folder in home/ seems to have purged the remnant gz sim code
