WebUI Refuses Connection From Remote

I've installed the latest Backrest (v1.8.1) on both linux and MacOS using the install script. Both instances work fine on localhost:9898. I've updated the config env to 0.0.0.0:9898 yet both instances refuse connection from remote hosts. Firewalls disabled. Other services can be accessed without issue. My brother checked his install and has the same issue. Can anyone confirm their v1.8.1 instance is accessible remotely please? Thanks!

Rebooting the hosts didn't resolve the issue per #709.

I can confirm I am able to connect remotely to v1.8.1 (Linux) when setting BACKREST_PORT env variable. I can't speak for the install script as I just install the binary and created a backrest.desktop in ~/.config/autostart to start when I login to my desktop.
