Hi, same problem but i solved it. You need to uninstall the old integration and load the new one

Hi, i uninstall old integration, bul when add from integrations I can not set ip address for ecowitt device. I cannot setup my device. How i can make new integration work?

Hi, you need to delete the old integration both in hacks and in integration section in home assistant.
then.. you need to put the homeassistant IP address and the port (8123 in my case) in the WSview app or web UI... leave '/' in the path field. Then load the integration. A pop up will provide you the new path (like /api/webhook/xxxxxx). insert the path in the path field in wsview app o web ui.
I did it like this and it works.

This breaks HAOS due to the docker containerization not being able to have additional software IE Nginx acting as a reverse proxy w/ out a bunch of mess/hacks.

There is also an issue w/ Core integration as per: home-assistant/core#134862 ironically the fix appears to be a HACS Ecowitt Proxy plugin.. so problem um, moved? 🪘
