Q: is it possible to use any other identificator?

I'm not in the habit of manually renaming windows, as I open & close hundreds of them during a day on my 36 Workspaces

is there any other way to have wm-win-tool identify Firefox windows as unique sans actually fixing the EWMH bug?

btw, did you look into fixing the EWMH bug in Firefox proper before making this? I'm on the same journey atm =)

Well, try this:

wm-win-tool -vc Navigator.Firefox curlist

This will just match all Firefox windows.

Well, just building FF is a journey on its own, hence diving into this pile is beyond my time constraints ATM.. If we're lucky, we will enjoy FF 75 with this issue fixed.

36 workspaces sounds like fun... 😉
