Put simply, having a Homebrew Cask for easier installation on macOS (especially with third-party utilities such as Applite), a Winget entry for Windows (with utilities such as UniGetUI), and a Flatpak for Linux stores (though the Appimage is acceptable if it would be preferable) would be very convenient.
I'm looking into Friction potentially joining my Ex-dobe FOSS suite alongside programs such as GIMP, Inkscape, KDEnlive, and the like. It seems very promising from my initial testing. Well done!
