Color tags for Layers [Feature Request]

Hi - Would it possible (without too much hassle) to add color tags for layers?

A user could then label certain layers with specifics colors, to easily navigate and identify assets.

This would include Paths, Objects, Groups and Layers.
Ungrouping could either result in the color tags being canceled, or transferring to the individual items formally in said group - although that second approach could be problematic, especially if there's no option to apply or disable color tags for multiple elements in batch.

Currently it's not possible to move multiple selected elements in the timeline or properties panel by left-click hold and drag (although possible with home; pg dn; pg up; end hotkeys).
