Kill the big old Fill and Stroke dialog

What's your opinion on killing this big F&S dialog? It takes so much space for just changing colors. Instead, we could have a more useful sidebar like After Effects does:

I won't object.
I casually check into the latest version (v1 RC1?) like once a week & the widget at the top right kinda does the job for me. If it could keep the bookmarked colors and still allows for granular tweaking with all the sliders and various colorspaces, it's fine by me. But the Gradients bit (with stacks of different user-mades) may still need some space.

edit: I just discovered that upon revisiting the pop-up with the Gradient tab last selected, the pop-up may stretch down for more room. In that case I won't be missing the big panel gone as you proposed. Some people might find the pop-up box still too small though.

speaking of which, the Radial gradient showed up blank the one time I used it to fill a Path object within a group that has a mask (another object set to the DstIn mode then the group was converted to a Layer), but a Linear gradient showed up normal. Probably among the list of very small bugs that need a second look.
