Langtern

Is the existence of your Language and Culture flickering? Rekindle it's fire using Langtern.

Target Audience

• Those who want to preserve a languange
  • NGOs
  • Government or Civic bodies of smaller cities, countries or communities
  • Individuals doing it out of their own goodwill.
  • People willing to contribute for a certification maybe. Will only happen if the app becomes a defacto place for preserving languages
• Those who are looking for newer oppurtunities
  • People who want to migrate to a specific country or a small community, could be archaelogists, photographers, etc.
  • Hobbyists interested in the culture of a particular community
  • People looking to preserve their cultural heritage.

  • Some kind of moderation system also needs to be in place. Could make use of some Cloud filtering service, AWS or Google has one I think

Business Model

Bit hard to decide Monetization Strategies before any market research. Since the languages on the App are goint to be uncommon, don't think there will be much opportunities to monetize as preservation is more of a Non-profit work.

Still, here it goes:

• Institutions looking to preserve their language can have certain certifications put up on the platform. Could be monitized
• When someone is done learning any language, they could be charged some money to take up a certification exam.

Some other thoughts

We could also make the app to be a cultural exchange kind of forum.
