Description
One thing that I think could level up using Pixels with Foundry is the ability to have Foundry itself (or a module using an exposed API) control the colors/patterns of the LEDs on a roll based on states from the game system itself, kind of like how Dice So Nice works for 3D virtual dice.
I would imagine that specific system implementations would be beyond the scope of this module, but possibly some baseline implementation and API to allow other system-specific modules to have access to the LEDs on the dice.
This could enable effects like, in D&D 5e, glowing only the higher or lower die for a roll that was done with advantage or disadvantage, respectively; or using a specific color glow for damage dice rolled for a specific damage type, rolling conditions that would only be known by Foundry, and wouldn't be easy or seamless to setup just by preconfiguring the dice using the app, then connecting them to Foundry.
