Org Deployment warning list

Every now and then I switch to our Prod org just to use the Open Org button to go an investigate something. Once I've finished I go back to my normal dev tasks forgetting I've set my org to Prod, and inevitably I right click on a file and try to deploy an update thinking I'm connected to my dev org and I'm not.

What I'd love to have is the ability to add an org alias to a list, and then if I try to deploy to that org, be prompted for conformation.

I have tried to build a VS Code extension myself but it's just not possible to interupt that context menu command.
