Snacks Picker - Buffer outline feature

Would be nice if we could have a picker that works similar to Aerial.

Put it into sidebar (or any other user picked layout) and show the outline of the current buffer in proper order (not like lsp_symbols, that sorts them alphabetically).

lsp_symbols are already hierarchical and in document order.
You can launch it in a sidebar, or open it normally and press <c-z>l to move to a split right (hjkl for other positions)

Yes, thanks, that fixes it.

Would be great if there was a way to collapse the branches, or jump between the main functions etc. I haven't investigated it yet, maybe there is already such ability already

there's still a bug in there with indent guides. fixing it...

Just fixed that.
I won't add functionality to collapse/expand nodes.
But you can filter the list to show only the symbols you want.

Maybe a shortcut to jump between the same level nodes instead would be easier?

Feel free to add that to your own config. Not interested in adding this to snacks.
