Grep with path in Snacks.picker

Hello. I need help finding a solution.

When using telescope.nvim and telescope-fzf-native.nvim, I can perform a grep that includes a path segment like this:
part of path : grep word.

For example:
modules : functionName

This approach doesn't work with Snacks.picker.

Could you please advise me on how to achieve this?

I don't really understand what you mean.
Live grep expects a regex, so that pattern would never give results. Same with Telescope and FzfLua.

Unless I'm understanding it wrong.

Either way, with snacks you could do:

• type functionname
• ctrl+g
• type modules

Here is an example where I find the word function only in paths that contain both app and ui-kit.
(telescope)

You can also exclude terms by preceding them with an exclamation point (!).
(telescope)

I could do something like this using Snacks.piker, but the first approach is simpler for me.
(Snacks.piker)

Your option with Ctrl+g is excellent, and I will use it if I can't do it the way I was doing it with the telescope. Could you please tell me how to get the result as with the example of (!) exception?

Maybe I'm just not seeing the right solution to this problem. I'd be really grateful for any help you can offer.

You can use

Snacks.picker.grep({ need_search = false, live = false })

Ah yes idneed, you're not using live_grep in telescope.
Then that's the same with snacks. Just set live=false indeed. (ctrl-g toggles live)
