Dynamically resizing picker list based on number of items

Is it possible and how?
I tried to play around with resize = true and

    self.state.height = ...
    self.dirty = true
    self:update()

but no luck.

It depends on the use case. It's definitely possible, but it's not something you'd want to implement yourself.
A great example of this is Snacks.picker.select.

If you really need more help, you need to be more specific — where, what source, and how.

I have a made a custom picker for my plugin, based on select, basically copied the code from the link you posted.
I would like to know how I can resize the picker, when it is already shown.

Setting

    picker.list.state.height = ...
    picker.list.dirty = true
    picker.list:update()
    picker:update()

does not work.

I do not really know what other details you may need, but here is the link to my code:
