Do I need to call setup? / What does call to empty setup do?

Do I need to call setup()? If I don't, picker anyway seems to work, for example.

Lazy calls in the setup function automatically when you pass in the opts so you can get away with just passing opts.

I don't use lazy, I use vim-plug. Does that make a difference?
