Probably using this.
https://github.com/neovim/neovim/blob/38f9ee63660740ce1976173a8513b57bc41d94a3/src/nvim/os/stdpaths.c#L43

But you could try :lua print(vim.fn.stdpath("data")) and see what it is for your machine.
